UNIQKIRIN is the leading unique design studio, focusing on graphic design and illustration. The studio was started as an independent design studio by Korean graphic designer & illustrator Kirin Queen since 2013. It based in South Korea and works for clients all around the world.  UNIQKIRIN Studio is very interested in creating unique, unique, and more unique works. The aim is to create a unique graphic design containing its eye-catching visual impact. 김길인은 한국인 그래픽 디자이너이자 일러스트레이터이다.
자신만의 개성을 담아 유니크한 디자인을 선보이는 유니크기린 스튜디오를 운영 중이다.

 Biography

Kirin was born in Seoul and grew up in Masan, South Korea. From an early age, Kirin was absorbed by creative writing and filmmaking. She was self-educated filmmaking for 6 years. She spent her teen life by gaining wide experiences in filmmaking very passionately. At the age of 17, She made few interesting Independent short films as a director. Some of her films were awarded and invited to the film festival. Starting off in filmmaking, Kirin realized early on that she found happiness in planning and designing new works, projects, as well as working for herself.

After that, She expanded her major by studying visual design at INJE university. During university life, She has consistently participated in lots of marketing projects hosted by famous brands and companies. and She accumulated extensive experiences in brand design and design marketing. She won several honorable awards and received excellent grades in those activities. She has been highly evaluated abilities for planning, directing and creating contents. After graduating from university in 2015, she studied art and cultural planning & directing in Daegu for a year and worked as an art director. She has strengthened her planning & directing skills more professionally.

Since 2013, as a student, She started working as a freelance designer in Korea and abroad and doing design projects with her personal brand UNIQKIRIN. She worked in multi positions such as a graphic designer, illustrator, creative director, filmmaker, art director and visual artist on the each different projects. While getting experience in art & design industry, she keeps learning about art, design, and life. Since 2016, when all the studies have been completed, She founded the independent design studio UNIQKIRIN. She is building a career as a graphic designer and illustrator in earnest. During her first year as an illustrator, her illustration work already has been presented in an art exhibition, an art performance, a showcase, and a newspaper, so on. In 2017, currently, she is staying in Seoul and actively works at home and abroad. She is always looking for the interesting next business and projects to be inspired.


김길인은 서울에서 태어나 마산에서 자랐다. 학창시절 6년 동안 영화영상제작을 독학으로 공부했다. 십대 대부분의 시간을 영화영상제작과 관련된 다양한 활동에 참여해 경험을 쌓으면서 보냈다. 열일곱 살의 나이로 일찍이 감독을 맡아 몇 편의 단편영화를 제작했고, 그 중 몇 작품이 수상을 하거나 영화제에 초청되며 실력을 인정받았다. 영화영상제작을 시작으로 일찍이 새로운 작품과 프로젝트를 기획하고 창작하며, 자신을 위해 일하는 행복을 발견했다.

이후 대학에서 시각 디자인을 공부하여 전공을 확장했다. 대학생활 동안 유명 기업들이 주최하는 여러 마케팅 프로젝트에 참여하며 브랜드 디자인과 디자인 마케팅에 대한 경험을 쌓아갔고, 그 활동들에서 여러 차례 수상을 하거나 우수한 성적을 받으며 기획력과 콘텐츠 창작 능력을 높게 평가받아왔다. 2015년 대학에서 졸업 후, 1년 동안 대구에서 문화예술기획을 공부하고 아트디렉터로 활동하며, 기획력과 구성력을 보다 전문적으로 강화해나갔다.

학생이었던 2013년부터 퍼스널브랜드 유니크기린으로 다양한 디자인 프로젝트를 진행하기 시작했고, 국내와 해외에서 프리랜서 디자이너로 활동했다. 그래픽디자이너, 일러스트레이터, 아트디렉터, 필름메이커 등 다양한 포지션으로 활동했고, 시각매체를 다루는 영역이면 어디서든 배우고 느끼고 경험하며 예술과 디자인 그리고 인생을 공부해 나갔다. 모든 학업을 마친, 2016년부터 유니크기린을 독립 디자인 스튜디오로 운영하며, 본격적으로 그래픽 디자이너이자 일러스트레이터로서 커리어를 쌓아 나가고 있다. 첫 일년 동안 그녀의 일러스트 작품은 이미 전시와 공연, 쇼케이스, 신문 등에서 선보여졌다. ‌ 2017년 현재 서울을 기반으로 국내외에서 활발하게 활동 중이며, 영감을 가져다 줄 새로운 프로젝트와 비즈니스를 꾸준히 찾고 있다.‌
